16 May Port Coogee’s thriving community

Several new developments, cafes and restaurants are throwing open their doors at Port Coogee, a bustling coastal community only 5 minutes south of Fremantle.

Offering sweeping views across the Indian Ocean towards Garden, Carnac and Rottnest Islands, Port Coogee has been cleverly designed to encourage walking and cycling and to minimise traffic.

Stirling’s Barque Marina Village Apartments are taking shape, and are on target for completion by mid-2018.  Bulk excavation and half of the foundations are now completed. Where footings have been cast, the supporting columns are being erected.

Designed by award-winning Perth architects MJA Studio, each of the 52 apartments has an extremely functional open plan layout with large, covered balconies for residents to make the most of outdoor living and entertaining. The apartments were designed to maximise natural light and cooling ocean breezes.

The Port Coogee Village shopping centre has recently opened its doors with anchor tenant Woolworths and 14 specialty stores. Murdoch University, Notre Dame University and the Fiona Stanley Hospital are also all within easy reach.

Only a few apartments remain and are priced from $395,000 to $689,000. Visit the sales office at 77 Orsino Boulevard, Port Coogee on Saturdays 1-3pm or Sundays 10.30am – 12pm.
