Stirling Joins the Town Team Movement
Posted 18 . 10 . 18
At Stirling we’re committed to building great places and spaces where people love to live. What better way to take this one step further by connecting residents with their neighbours and local businesses, to create great communities?
As part of our commitment to be actively at the grassroots of local community, Stirling recently sponsored the inaugural Town Team movement conference in Perth. The Town Team movement empowers businesses and residents to work together with local government to create active, resilient and successful areas.
Have you ever wanted to meet your neighbours, start a food festival, laneway pop up shop, or walking tour in your area? This could be your opportunity. Examples of existing Town Teams around Perth who draw communities together include Beaufort Street Network, Northbridge Common, Mt Hawthorn Hub, Vic Park Collective to name a few.
We hope to bring you more information about Town Teams and how you can get involved soon!
