16 May Stirling Street evolution begins
Earthworks are almost complete for Perth’s first purpose-built student accommodation tower at 89-95 Stirling Street, being built in partnership with global student accommodation operator GSA. The 24 level, 571 bed student tower is on track to finish by the end of 2018, ready for the 2019 academic year. Stirling’s busy project team is now actively preparing for construction to soon commence on Verdant Apartments, at 78 Stirling Street.
Stirling Street, on the fringe of Perth’s museum, culture, arts and dining precinct and walking distance to the CBD, is hotly tipped to become one of the most exciting urban regeneration areas in Perth within the next 5 years.
Senior Project Manager, Matthew Chau said the appointed builder, BGC will commence demolition at the Verdant site this month and construction will begin soon after.
“When complete, Verdant will offer quality design and finishings, roof-top entertainment spaces, apartments with spectacular views and a great level of amenity,” he said.
Stirling Capital acknowledges Verdant’s delayed start and assures buyers that the team is working towards a completed building by the end of 2018.
