Stirling Capital is a private investment and development group specialising in high-quality urban infill and social infrastructure projects.

We create desirable, sustainable communities for our clients by delivering class-leading developments driven by location and design.

Since we began in 2005, we have delivered projects worth more than $600 million. Working with private client and institutional partners, we deliver sustainable developments across the residential, retail, commercial, student accommodation and aged care sectors, all sourced, secured and managed by our Group.

Reducing a building’s whole-of-life cost.

Sustainability takes many forms and at Stirling we are proud to deliver modern sustainability practices and technologies in all of our projects.

Our buildings are designed with embedded networks that use smart meters, renewable energy sources such as solar panels, and measures to optimise energy savings for our residents and commercial tenants. Sustainability is integral to every brief we provide to our architects – from water and energy efficiency to materials selection and other initiatives, we consider sustainability throughout every stage of every project to ensure optimum environmental performance from the ground up.

Many of our residential developments offer residents additional sustainable amenities, such as the use of bicycles and electric cars.


Stirling Executive Team

Robert brings over 30 years’ experience in the investment, funds management and property development industries throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Robert was formerly a senior executive of a major investment funds group, where he was responsible for the structuring and marketing of property and equity trusts at a time when the group was the market leader in the managed funds industry in Australia. This led to national roles in funds management with responsibility for business development throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Robert specialises in the structuring and marketing of investment products and is directly involved in setting Stirling Capital’s strategic direction.

Robert has been actively involved in the successful development and acquisition of a wide range of accommodation projects including residential units and apartments, lifestyle retirement villages and commercial office assets.

Robert Reinecke

Executive Chairman

Michael has over 40 years’ experience in private legal practice and business. In 2003, he established his own law firm, Michael Lurie + Associates (MLA) – a boutique firm providing legal advice and services in relation to large scale property, finance and commercial transactions for corporate and institutional clients. Before establishing MLA he was a senior partner of Ashurst (formerly Blake Dawson Waldron).

Michael has served on the boards of a number of public and private companies servicing the property development, finance, funds management and venture capital industries as well as the boards of a number of charitable and community institutions. He is currently a member of the Law Society of Western Australia. Michael holds Bachelor of Laws and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Cape Town.

Michael Lurie

Non-Executive Director

Luke has held senior roles in finance, property and funds management in Australia and the UK for over 20 years. Luke previously held roles with Azure Capital Ltd — a boutique investment bank and corporate advisory business, Campus Living Villages UK (CLV) — an international student accommodation fund, and the Bank of Western Australia.

At Stirling Capital, Luke manages an accomplished team and is responsible for major projects and daily operations. Since the company’s inception he has consistently delivered quality projects across Western Australia with solid returns to equity partners.

Luke holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia for which he received a Directors award for academic achievement, a Masters in Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance.

Luke is a Fellow of the Financial Services Industry of Australia, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Responsible Manager for AFSL 322 592 held by Stirling Capital Nominees.

Luke Reinecke

Managing Director

Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services roles in both private and listed companies across the property and finance industries.

Prior to joining Stirling Capital in 2015, Mark held the position of Financial Controller at Questus Ltd Group for over nine years, with previous finance and accounting positions at RAC WA and in the UK.

Mark brings a strong background in executive finance, taxation and compliance to Stirling Capital’s management team. He is responsible for compliance and the financial management of the group’s position, while also being actively involved with managing stakeholders at a project and Board level.

Mark is a qualified CPA and is also a Responsible Manager for AFSL 322 592 held by Stirling Capital Nominees.

Mark Adams

Financial Controller

Daniel has a decade of experience in senior roles in real estate and specifically project marketing and sales including as the Director of Sales for Blackburne and Managing Director for Indo-Pacific Property, having specialised in providing advisory services for project development, marketing and sales strategy.

In his career Daniel has been involved in the delivery and sales of over 30 major developments and represented developers from around Australia locally and internationally, being responsible for in excess of $1B of sales and is a recognised industry leader.

At Stirling, Daniel is responsible for the Real Estate Services provided by the company and is the licensee in control of the project marketing, sales strategy and sales and channel management of both the local sales team and international channels.

Daniel holds a triennial certificate as a Licensed Real Estate and Business Agent and is licensed in WA, QLD, VIC, NSW and New Zealand and has graduate qualifications in Management and Property and is a Member of the Real Estate Industry of Western Australia.

Daniel-Paul Filippi

Director Marketing & Sales

Jon has over 18 years of experience in the property development industry in Australia and South Africa. Jon joined Stirling Capital in 2015 and is responsible for managing the development team in the delivery of all of Stirling’s projects. He personally overseas significant projects such as Stirling’s $240 million Cirque Apartments.

Prior to joining Stirling Capital, Jon held development roles with Australand locally and Rabie Property Group in South Africa.

While working with private developer Rabie Property Group in Cape Town, he specialised in the end-to-end development management of a number of award winning, mixed-use and apartment projects at the iconic Century City development.

After moving to Perth in 2012, Jon oversaw the Cockburn Central apartment projects for Australand, including the Kingston apartments which won the UDIA award for best Medium Density Development in WA – 2014.

Jon has a National Diploma in Building from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology specialising in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying.
